Egg bajji/ egg pakoda

Hi friends,
Today's my recipe is a wonderful easy and tasty snack,egg bajji or mutta bajji. It is one of my all time favourite snack.This is one of the popular Indian snack.please try and feed back.


SUMMARY:

  • Course....................snack
  • Cuisine....................kerala
  • Preparation time......5minutes
  • Cooking time...........5minutes
  • Total time ................10minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • Egg.............................5nos
  • Oil ..............................for fry

FOR BATTER:

  • Besan flour/chick pea flour.1/2cup
  • Rice flour............................1tbsp
  • All purpose flour.................1tbsp
  • Salt .....................................to taste
  • Red chilly powder .............1/4tsp
  • Turmeric powder................2pinch
  • Baking powder....................1/4tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste ..............1/2tsp
  • Asafoetida/hing powder........a pinch
  • Chopped cilantro .................1tbsp
  • Chopped curry leaves  .........1tbsp
  • Water ....................................as required

STEPS:

  1. Hard boil the egg remove the  shell and cut into half,keep aside.
  2. Make a smooth,thick batter with above mentioned batter ingredients.(with out any lumps).
  3. Heat oil in a wok and dip each slice in batter and deep fry it.
  4. Tasty egg bajji is ready! serve warm.
  5. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!.
