INGREDIENTS:
- Lady's finger(vendakka)..250g
- Onion...............................1big sliced
- Green chilly......................2nos slit
- Curry leaves......................2springs
- Grated coconut..................1/4cup
- Coconut oil........................21/2tbsps
- Salt....................................to taste
STEPS:
- Wash the vendakka(okra,lady's finger)very well under running water,drain and wipe with a kitchen tissue.
- Trim both the ends each of them then cut into thin round pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan add sliced onion,green chilly and curry leaves,saute for few seconds.
- Now add okra stir couple of minutes secon, then add salt(keep stirring) and cook for 8to 10 minutes so that the okra gets rid of its sliminess.
- Then add grated coconut stir and fry 2 more minutes.Thoran is ready!
- Serve with rice and Enjoy..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
