INGREDIENTS
- Rice ada.................200grams
- Jaggery...................400grams
- Ghee.......................4tbsp
- Thin coconut milk..3cups
- Thick coconut milk.2cups
- Cashewnut...............50grams
- Raisin......................25grams
- Cardamom powder..1/2tsp
- Water......................as required
STEPS
- Cook the Ada for 10 minutes with required water, once it is done,completely drain the water and rinse 2 or 3 times with cold water( this is to prevent the Ada from sticking each other).
- Melt Jaggery with half cup of water and keep aside.
- Heat a thick vessel (uruly), pour 2 tabsp ghee and fry cashewnuts and raisins, keep aside.
- In the same vessel add prepared Ada and stir for 3 minutes, then add melted jaggery and stir until it is thick, then add remaining ghee and mix well.
- Add thin coconut milk, keep stir until it is slightly thick,then add thick coconut milk and mix well.
- Turn off the flame before start to boil, then add cardamom, cashew and raisins.
- Delicious Ada pradhaman is ready to enjoy.
