Today's recipe is beef ularthiyathu, This is our special dish for this Christmas, It can be serve with palappam,porota, pathri and ediyapam.

INGREDIENTS:
- Beef .....................1kg
- Shallots ................1cup
- Curry leaves..........2 sprigs
- Ginger garlic pate..2tsp
- Salt .......................to taste
- Sliced coconut .....1/4 cup
- Coriander powder.2tbsp
- Turmeric powder..1/2tsp
- Pepper powder......1tbsp
- Garam masala ......1tsp
- Fennel powder .....1tsp
- Green chilly .........3nos
- Coconut oil ..........3tbsp
STEPS:
- Cut the beef into small pieces, wash well and drain it.
- Take beef in to a pressure cooker add half cup of shallots,1tsp ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, salt, sliced coconut, 1tbsp coriander powder, 1/4tsp turmeric powder,1/2tsp pepper powder and 1/2tsp garam masala,mix well with hand until masala evenly coated with the beef and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Pressure cook the beef without water for 3 whistle or until it is done.
- Heat oil in a wok, add 1/2 cup of sliced shallots, curry leaves,1tsp ginger garlic paste and crushed green chilly, saute for 3 minutes, then add remaining coriander powder,pepper powder turmeric powder,garam masala powder and fennel powder and stir for one minute. Now reduce the flame to prevent burn masala.
- When the masala's raw smell gone, then add cooked beef and combine well, keep stirring until dark brown.
- Beef ularthiyathu is ready, serve hot...!!! Enjoy the dish.!!!
