INGREDIENTS:
- Ripe plantain ...4nos (kerala nentra pazham)
- Oil....................For deep fry
For filling:
- Grated coconut............1/2cup
- Flattened Rice flakes...4tbsp
- Sugar.........................4tbsp
- Cashew nut.................10nos
- Cardamom powder.....1/4tsp
For Batter:
- Maida......1/2cup
- Water..... as required
- Salt..........a pinch
- Baking powder...2pinch
- Turmeric powder..2pinch
STEPS:
- Peel and slit the Banana deeply one side of length wise (refer attached photo) and keep aside.
- Mix well all filling ingredients with your hands and fill into the slitted bananas.
- Make a thick batter with all batter ingredients.
- Dip stuffed bananas into the batter, make sure batter is evenly coated on the stuffed bananas.
- Heat oil in a wok and deep fry it until golden brown in medium flame.
- Whole stuffed banana fry is ready, Enjoy with tea or coffee.....!!!!!!
