Today's recipe is beef vindaloo!.This recipe is popular in India, especially in Goa.If it is marinated over night and cook in slow cooker it will be more tasty and yummy.

INGREDIENTS:
- Beef ......................1kg
- Onion ....................1 big
- Tomato...................1no
- Oil .........................3tbsp
- Shallots .................10nos
- ginger garlic paste.1tsp
- Water .....................as required
FOR GRIND:
- Pepper corn............1 tbsp
- Red chilly ..............3nos
- Kashmir chilly........5nos
- Cumin seed ............3/4 tsp
- Garlic cloves...........5
- Ginger ....................1 inch piece
- Cloves ....................6nos
- Cinnamon ..............1 small stick
- Cardamom pod ......4nos
- Sugar ......................1/2 tsp
- Mustard...................3/4tsp
- Turmeric powder.....1/4tsp
- Coconut vinegar .....3tbsp
- Coconut milk ..........1/4 cup
- Salt ..........................to taste
STEPS:
- Clean and wash the beef, cut into bite size pieces and pat dry it.
- Make a smooth paste with all grinding ingredients.
- In a mixing bowl marinate the beef with ground paste until evenly coated, cover the bowl with plastic wrap keep in the refrigerator over night or at least 4 hours.
- Heat oil in a thick bottom pan or clay pot,add chopped onion, chopped shallots, curry leaves and1tsp ginger garlic paste, stir until light golden brown.
- Now add chopped tomato, saute for 3 minutes,then add marinated beef and stir well, add water (if required) and cover the pan with a lid, cook in low flame for 1hour 15 minutes.
