INGREDIENTS:
- Atta (whole wheat flour).1cup
- Semolina.............1tbsp
- Rice powder........1tbsp
- All purpose flour.1tbsp
- Sugar...................1/2tsp
- Salt .....................to taste
- Water...................as required
- Oil ......................for frying
STEPS:
- Take a wide bowl add all ingredients except water and oil, then mix well with your hands.
- Add required water at a time into the flour and knead well, apply little oil on top of the dough and cover with wet cloth, leave it for 20 minutes.
- Make small sized balls from the kneaded dough.
- Flatten the balls to get circles which are neither too thin nor thick using chapati press. ( do not to use dry flour while pressing).
- Heat oil in a deep bottom pan and deep fry it.
- Serve with potato bhaji or vegetable stew.
