Kay pola (banana cake)

Hi friends,
I am back to my blog, I was unable to make any post since last one month due to  we were travelling, Now you can see my post in regularly, Hence expecting your support,like and feedback.

Today's my recipe is kay pola, it is a malabar ifthar snack, it is easy to make and very delicious.











SUMMARY:

  • Total time ...........30minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • Ripe banana(nendra pazham).2mediumsize
  • Egg ........................................3 large
  • Sugar .....................................4tbsp
  • Cardamom powder ................1/2tsp
  • Cashew nut ............................8nos
  • Raisin .....................................10nos
  • Ghee .......................................1tbsp
  • Coconut oil or Ghee................as required

STEPS:

  1. Peel the bananas and cut into small cubes and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan,fry cashew and raisins separately and keep aside .In the same oil fry banana cubes until golden brown,drain out excess oil and allow to cool.
  3. Whisk eggs  along with sugar and cardamom powder.
  4. Add fried banana cubes into the egg mixture  and combine well.
  5. Take a deep thick bottom non stick vessel,grease with ghee and heat it,pour egg banana mixture into it and cover with a lid,cook in low flame for 15 minutes.
  6. Open the lid after 5 minutes then add fried cashew and raisins,cover again and cook until  it is done, when it is cook, flip over and cook for 5 minutes (also you can bake instead of  this mathed)
  7. Switch off the flame, Kay pola is ready, serve with warm........!!!!!!!
