INGREDIENTS:
- Semolina (rava) .....1/4cup
- Vermicelli (semiya)1/4cup
- Milk ........................2cup
- Water ......................11/2cup
- Coconut milk .........3/4cup
- Sugar ......................6tbsp
- Cashew nut .............10nos
- Raisines ...................8nos
- Chopped shallots .....8nos
- Cardamom powder....1/2tsp
- Ghee ..........................11/2tbsp
- Salt..............................a pinch
- Sago ...........................2tsp
STEPS:
- Heat ghee in a vessel, fry chopped shallots,cashew and raisins.
- When it is golden brown, add water and one cup of milk,let it boil.
- Now add semolina,soaked sago,and vermicelli stir well and cook for few minutes.
- when it is done add remaining milk,salt and sugar stir for couple of seconds,then add coconut milk and cardomom powder combine well, remove from the heat.
- Thari kanji is ready..........Enjoy..!!!!!!!!
