INGREDIENTS:
- All purpose flour(maida).3tbsp
- Water ...............................221/2cup
- Milk .................................31/2cup
- Water..................................11/2cup
- Cardamom pods..................4nos
- Cinnamon stick ..................1 piece
- Cloves .................................2nos
- Chopped onion ....................2tbsp
- Condensed milk ...................4tbsp
- Sugar ....................................1/2cup
- Cardamom powder ................1/4tsp
- Salt ..........................................a pinch
FOR GARNISH :
- Ghee .......................................2tbsp
- Chopped shallots......................5nos
- Chopped cashew ......................4tbsp
- Raisins.......................................1tbsp
STEPS:
- In a bowl add all purpose flour(maida),21/2 cups water and mix well,then leave it undisturbed for 40 minutes.
- After 45 minutes slowly drain the water and take only the flour into a vessel,then add milk and mix well.
- Now add chopped onion,cinnamon stick,cloves ,cardamom,sugar and condensed milk,stir well and cook until slightly thicken(it should be a drinking consistency).
- Then add cardamom powder and salt combine well,remove cinnamon, cloves and cardamom then off the flame and cover with a lid.
- Heat ghee in a pan add chopped onion fry few second,then add cashew stir for few seconds add raisins fry until golden brown and add to palooda combine well and cover with a lid.
- Delicious palooda is ready...Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!
