Lamb brain fritters

Hi friends,

Today I am sharing a special  recipe, lamb brain vada (lamb brain fritters).This is  my  mother in low's recipe,she  was an excellent cook. It is simple,easy and tasty recipe,also a great evening  snack. Do try this tasty recipe  and give me  feedback.


SUMMARY:

  • Preparation time.......10minutes
  • Cooking time............15minutes
  • Total time..................25minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • Lamb brain................2nos
  • Chopped shallots.......20nos
  • Chopped ginger.........2tbsp
  • Chopped curry leaves.3tbsp
  • Rice powder..............2to 3tbsp
  • Egg ...........................1no
  • Salt ...........................to taste
  • Oil..............................for fry

FOR GRINDING:

  • Coriander seeds........1tsp
  • Turmeric powder......1/4tsp
  • Pepper powder..........1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds..............1/2tsp
  • Shallots......................2nos
  • Curry leaves..............1sprig

STEPS:

  1. Clean and wash the brain and drain it.
  2. Make a thick paste all the above mentioned ingredients,keep aside.
  3. In a bowl add brain,chopped shallots,chopped ginger,chopped curry leaves,rice powder,egg,salt and ground paste then  squeeze with hands and mix well.(batter should be thick)
  4. Heat oil in a wok,pour 1tbsp batter into it and deep fry until golden brown.
  5. Delicious brain vada is ready!serve warm and Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
