Natholi fry (anchovy fish fry)

 INGREDIENTS

  •  Natholi (anchovy).......1/2kg
  •  Kashmiri chili powder.1tbsp
  •  Turmeric powder.........1/4tsp
  •  Salt...............................to taste
  •  Ginger garlic paste.......1tbsp
  •  Shallot...........................6nos
  •  Fennel seed...................1/2tsp
  •  Curry leaves..................2 springs
  •  Coconut oil................... for frying

STEPS

  1.  Clean and wash the fish and pat dry. 
  2. Make a smooth paste all ingredients except fish and oil.
  3.  Marinate fish with the paste and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4.  Heat coconut oil in a pan and shallow fry until dark golden brown then flip over gently and fry until it is done.
  5. serve hot with sliced onion and lime.
