- Natholi (anchovy).......1/2kg
- Kashmiri chili powder.1tbsp
- Turmeric powder.........1/4tsp
- Salt...............................to taste
- Ginger garlic paste.......1tbsp
- Shallot...........................6nos
- Fennel seed...................1/2tsp
- Curry leaves..................2 springs
- Coconut oil................... for frying
STEPS
- Clean and wash the fish and pat dry.
- Make a smooth paste all ingredients except fish and oil.
- Marinate fish with the paste and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and shallow fry until dark golden brown then flip over gently and fry until it is done.
- serve hot with sliced onion and lime.
