FOR MARINATION:
- Kashimir chilly.........1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder.......1/2 tsp
- Salt ...........................to taste
- Fennel seed powder...1/4tsp
- Garlic cloves..............2nos
- Shallots......................8nos
- Curry leaves...............2 strings
STEPS:
- Clean and wash the fish, make some deep slits on both sides.
- Make a paste with all marination ingredients and marinate the fish keep aside 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish until dark golden brown,then flip over gently and fry until it is done.
- Serve hot with sliced onion and lime.
