Payar / Achinga mezhukepuratti (String beans stir fry)



SUMMARY:

  • Total time..........20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • String beans.......1/2kg
  • Green chilly.......3nos
  • Salt....................to taste
  • Water.................as required

SEASONING:

  • Coconut oil.......11/2tbsp
  • Shallots.............6nos
  • Curry leaves.....2strings

STEPS:

  1. Wash the string beans and cut into 1/2 inch length.
  2. Cook string beans along with salt, green chilly and little water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan saute chopped shallots and curry leaves, then add into the cooked beans  and mix well.
  4. Serve with rice.
