Mutta ada (Egg tart)

This is a malabar ifthar snack.






SUMMARY:

  • Course:.....Snack
  • Cuisine.....Kerala
  • Preparation time...5 minutes
  • Cooking time......15 minutes
  • Total time........20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

For Batter:

  • egg.....4nos
  • Cardamom powder....1/4 tsp
  • Salt.....to taste

For Filling:

  • Egg.....2nos
  • Chopped Cashew....10nos
  • Raisin.....  10nos
  • Sugar.....    4tbs
  • Ghee.........1tsp

STEPS:

  1. In a bowl, mix all filling ingredients except ghee.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan, add mixed ingredients, scramle the egg mixture until small lumps,keep aside.
  3. Make a batter with all ingredients.
  4. Heat a pan, spread little ghee and pour batter like thin small round pan cakes.
  5. Place filling in the center of pan cake and fold it half circle.
  6. cook both sides until golden brown.
  7. Enjoy the snack...!!!
