INGREDIENTS:
- Cabbage.........................half of one medium size
- Carrot ............................2medium size
- Chopped green chilly.....2nos
- Coconut oil ...................11/2tbsp
- Grated coconut..............1/2cup
- Salt ................................to taste
- Mustard seeds................1/4tsp
- Dry chilly .....................2nos
- Curry leaves .................2springs
STEPS:
- Wash the cabbage and carrot under running water,chop the cabbage and grate the carrot.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds let it splutter,add dry chilly,green chilly and curry leaves stir for a minute.
- Then add carrot, cabbage and salt saute for couple of minutes.Cover with a lid and cook on low flame for 3 minutes or until it is almost done.
- Open the lid and add grated coconut mix well and cook another 3 more minutes (stir occasionally until water is evoperated) switch off the flame.
- Serve warm with rice..........Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!
