Mutton cutlet

Hi friends,
Today's my recipe is mutton cutlet.




SUMMARY:

  • Course ....................snack
  • Cuisine.....................kerala
  • Preparation time.......10minutes

  • Total time .................30minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • Mutton .......................1/2kg
  • Chilly powder...............1/4tsp
  • Turmeric powder...........1/4tsp
  • Pepper powder ................1/4tsp
  • Garam masala powder....1/4tsp
  • Onion ..........................2nos
  • Coconut oil...................2tbsp
  • Boiled potato ...............2nos big
  • Chopped green chilly....2 or 3nos
  • Chopped ginger.............1tbsp
  • Curry leaves...................2spring
  • Chopped cilantro............3tbsp
  • Salt .................................to taste
  • Egg white .......................2nos
  • Bread crumbs ..................as required
  • Oil ....................................for frying

STEPS:

  1. Cut the mutton into small pieces,wash well and drain it.
  2. Pressure cook the mutton along with chilly powder,turmeric powder,pepper powder,garam masala and salt (without water).
  3. When it is done,allow to cool then crush it and keep aside.
  4. Smash the boiled potato and keep aside.
  5. Heat coconut oil in a pan add ginger,green chilly,onion and curry leaves saute for until onion is lightly brown.
  6. Now add crushed mutton and fry for 3minutes.
  7. Then add smashed potato and chopped cilantro saute until  them dry and let it cool.
  8. In a bowl whisk egg white, take bread crumbs in a plate and keep aside.
  9. Make a lemon size ball from the mutton mixture and flatten it round shape or desired shape, then egg wash the cutlet and roll it in bread crumbs.
  10. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the cutlets.
  11. Cutlet is ready to serve........Enjoy!!!!!!!
